Email notifications for Guests

The guests receive an email from OpenKey which includes their 6-digit code when they register themselves on the OpenKey app. They will also receive a temporary confirmation code via email when they check-in at a Hotel from the front desk if the property has enabled this feature on their end.

Note: Some properties have enabled both methods of sending an email notification to the guests as well as sending the SMS to the guest’s phone with their confirmation code.
